Los Angeles, CA, (The Hollywood Times) 10/19/2020–“ You know this is what you dream of as a little kid. You don’t just dream of being a big leaguer. You always dream about game seven of the World Series. This is not the World Series but it’s game seven and you always dream about three-two, bases loaded, and this and that. It’s game seven and you try to do whatever you can to help the team win. I was able to do that tonight.” Dodgers player Kike Hernandez

History was made as the Dodgers came back from being down three games to one in the NLCS series forcing a do or die game seven, October 18th, against the Atlanta Braves.

Needing to break the 3-3 series tie and advance to play in the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Dodgers put forth a lot of effort to get themselves into a position to clinch the series. Top of the sixth they were down 2/3 Atlanta.
Kike Hernandez stepped up to the plate to pinch-hit for Joc Pederson in the bottom of the sixth and cracked a solo home run into the left-center field stands tying the game at 3/3.
