(London, UK / August 29, 2016) — Skirt Club, the underground ‘play party’ for bisexual & bi-curious women, announces the launch of its new Los Angeles location with an official Début Party September 22.
The Standard Hotel in West Hollywood will host the invitation-only event from 7pm-11pm, accommodating its guests with specialty cocktails and burlesque performances.
Members will also be treated to an exclusive speaking presentation from hypnotherapist, stress-relief expert and founder of popular online recharge station gracespace, Grace Smith, who will discuss the empowering freedom of owning one’s sexual identity and choices.

“Women in general are interested in each other, particularly with the bi-curious and bisexuality trend among women that’s become so prevalent in pop culture today,” said Skirt Club Founder Geneviève LeJeune. “But sexual exploration can be difficult when you’re concerned about safety and privacy… and where do you have the opportunity to meet these women?”
The Club’s private community and exclusive network, which LeJeune successfully launched in 2014 in London as a luxury space for ‘girls who play with girls’, has since created that opportunity. Skirt Club’s locations have since expanded to New York City, Sydney and Miami.
Enthusiastic word-of-mouth has driven Skirt Club’s thriving attendance numbers, and its parties are now a popular monthly event in London, while New York City’s smashing success after only six months suggests a similar schedule is on the horizon.  Los Angeles is now the next major step.
LeJeune adds that in order to join the exclusive network, Skirt Club members must undergo an approval process. No cameras are allowed inside the event to uphold the Club’s top priority: guest discretion and personal privacy.
“We’re excited to bring Skirt Club to Los Angeles and we hope that LA women enjoy the empowerment of opening up to each other in a completely unique and supportive way,” said LeJeune.

Away from the prying eyes of men, Skirt Club parties are designed to facilitate one night of consensual experimentation – no consequences, no questions. LeJeune believes ‘It’s about doing what excites you’.
