Turner Classic Movies Announces 14th Annual TCM Classic Film Festival Dates for April 13 – 16

Festival Theme “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” Celebrates
Enduring Film Legacies

Turner Classic Movies (TCM) today announced that its signature fan-favorite event, the TCM Classic Film Festival, will descend upon Hollywood, CA, from Thursday, April 13 through Sunday, April 16, 2023. Movie lovers can join the network on Hollywood Boulevard for one-of-a-kind programming set within the theme You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet: Celebrating Film Legacies. Over four packed days and nights, attendees will be treated to an extensive lineup of great movies, appearances by legendary stars and filmmakers, fascinating presentations and panel discussions, special events, and more. The festival’s official hotel and central gathering point will be The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, which has a longstanding role in movie history and was the site of the first Academy Awards® ceremony. The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will also offer special rates for festival attendees.

“We know fans of classic movies look forward all year to the TCM Classic Film Festival – and believe me, we at TCM do, too,” said Pola Changnon, general manager of TCM. “We were reminded last year that being together in person, celebrating these movies with others who love them is very special – it’s like finding your movie tribe all gathered in one place.  We’re honored to bring this classic movie experience to Hollywood again in April.”

In 2023, as Warner Bros. commemorates its 100th anniversary, the TCM Classic Film Festival celebrates the stories, traditions and rituals in film that transcend time. These enduring stories are a foundation of lasting impact on the world, big and small, good and bad, and remain a springboard to the future. The continued legacy is seen in the four Warner brothers, who worked together on behalf of a family business that became a global brand that has affected millions. It is seen in the traditions that are part of a story’s narrative arc, ones that create a sense of belonging for characters, whether they be weddings, funerals, holiday gatherings, or other personal touchstones. Legacy is expressed in family stories passed down, skills and talents transferred from the old to the young and the values and ideals that drive individuals. There are also tales of legacy denied, of characters turning away from what has been set before them. This enduring legacy reveals that the past can meet the present and forge the future.

Passes for the 2023 TCM Classic Film Festival will go on sale in December and will include a special Early Bird discount window. For more information, please visit http://filmfestival.tcm.com.
