San Diego, CA (The Hollywood Times) 07/22/2016 – The Walking Dead shared a trailer for season seven for the October 23rd season premiere. Fans were introduced Khary Payton, booked as King Ezekiel, and is pet tiger, Shiva as multiple communities unite in response to the sociopathic villain, Negan.
The Walking Dead moderator, Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead), delved into hot conversation with the cast and exec panel including Andrew Lincoln, Chandler Riggs, Danai Gurira, Josh McDermitt, Lauren Cohan, Sonequa Martin-Green, Norman Reedus, Ross Marquand, Christian Serratos, Michael Cudlitz, Steven Yeun, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and execs Scott Gimple, Gale Ann Hurd, and Greg Nicotero.
Battling the evolving walkers is a journey that keeps on changing as the characters experience their world expanding and becoming more complex. Each meet up is potentially as dangerous as it may be helpful, demanding a quick judgment as to whether this new group is friend or foe. Gimple proclaimed that “a lot of the B.S. Just falls away”. Cudlitz explained that “the will to survive shows strength” and his character is “allowed to feel” which teaches him that “there are things worth dying for as well as living for”.
Nicotero and the Visual Effects team have received an Emmy nomination for their exceptional work on the zombies and “the team has created a crispy and blistered look” that they are very excited about, shared Nicotero.
The Walking Dead event culminated with a slide show of brilliant, content artwork reflecting the physicality of their world, the heart of their relationships, and the substance of their courage to keep fighting to survive.
