Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 3/8/18 – Sony Pictures Studios hosted the world premiere of Crackle’s new original drama series, ‘The Oath’, last night in Culver City. Directed by Jeff T. Thomas (“Blindspot,” “Wayward Pines”) and Luis Prieto (Kidnap, “StartUp”), the 10-episode series stars Ryan Kwanten (“True Blood”), Sean Bean (“Game of Thrones”), Cory Hardrict (Brotherly Love) and Katrina Law (Training Day).

A majority of the series’ stars were in attendance at the red carpet screening and party including the executive producer of the project, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Many were excited to see rapper/actor Fat Joe amongst those in the theater audience as he was known for having a longstanding and very publicized feud with 50 Cent.

Created by Joe Halpin (“Hawaii Five-O,” “Secrets and Lies”), who worked as a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputy in South Central for 17 years, 12 of which as an undercover officer, the series takes an unforgiving look at the complicated dynamics in these organizations and documents the lives of those willing to risk it all, to have it all.
In addition to Mr. Jackson, the show was made possible with the help of his phenomenal team over at G-Unit Film & Television Inc., Todd Hoffman and Dennis Kim of Storied Media Group, Anne Clements (“StartUp”) and Joe is also creator, writer and showrunner.
