MADAM SECRETARY is a television series created by Barbara Hall and executive produced by Lori McCreary and Morgan Freeman for CBS. It stars Tim Daly as the husband of Dr. Elizabeth McCord, the newly appointed U.S. Secretary of State, who is portrayed by Téa Leoni. The third action-packed season of MADAM SECRETARY is set to premiere on October 2nd, 2016 during this election year dominated by a former female Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton!
