Stars Help Raise $400K at Annual Lupus LA Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon

LOS ANGELES, CA – November 18, 2016 – Celebrities, socialites, fashionistas and supporters of the lupus cause came together earlier today for the Fourteenth Annual Lupus LA Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Hosts Jon Kelley and Flipping Out’s Jenni Pulos were joined by honoree Terri Seymour, Westworld’sAngela Sarafyan, Leona Lewis, MTV Awkward’s Nikki DeLoach, Devious Maids’ Edy Ganem, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Eden Sassoon, Million Dollar Listing’s Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu, Ash vs. Evil Dead’s Pepi Sonuga, Lisa Ann Walter, Anastasia Soare, influencer Erica Pelosini and Lupus LA ambassadors Meredith Monroe, Ali Hillisand more who came out to support the cause. The event raised $400K for lupus research and local patient programs.
The Lupus LA Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon is labeled the “must do” lunch of the season. Guests enjoyed an exclusive fashion show by Salvatore Ferragamo and mixed and mingled as they bid on designer handbags donated by Jennifer Aniston, Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, and Reese Witherspoon among many others and from some of the most sought out brands including Brooks Brothers, Jimmy Choo, ETRO, Fendi, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Ermenegildo Zegna and more.  Flipping Out’s Jenni Pulos led the live auction which included an exclusive New York Fashion Week package, a trip to Paris, a one-of-a-kind Stefano Ricci briefcase and more.
Each year Lupus LA presents awards to individuals who strive to make the world better for those living with lupus, whether it is through research, charitable gifts, spreading awareness and more. This year, Lupus LA honored three influential women: Extracorrespondent Terri Seymour with the Women Achievement Award; Nicole Fogel and Sheila Milstein with the Women Achievement Award and Joan Robbins who has been a dedicated member of the Hollywood Bag Ladies Luncheon Committee for over four with the Adam Selkowitz Outstanding Volunteer Award.
