Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 12/20/19 – New York– Random Media has acquired international rights to Director John Gallagher’s Sarah Q from Goddess Girl Films. The New York-based drama stars Emmy James in the title role as a young actress experiencing the trials and tribulations of acting school.
Ms. James has won two Best Actress awards for her performance, at the Golden Door International Film Festival and the Northeast Film Festival. She will next be seen in the features You’re Not Alone and Dear Zoe. “SARAH Q is inspired by my 25 years teaching film acting.
Every scene is in fact based on real events I’ve witnessed over the years. I’m blessed to have creative relationships with iconic veterans like Burt Young, Sally Kirkland, Tony Sirico, Vinny Pastore and dozens of spectacular young actors from my classes. Sarah Q reunites Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts) and Vincent Pastore ( Big Pussy) from the iconic HBO series The Sopranos.
