RANDOM MEDIA ACQUIRES JOHN GALLAGHER’S SARAH Q

Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 12/20/19 –  New York– Random Media has acquired international rights to Director John Gallagher’s Sarah Q from Goddess Girl Films. The New York-based drama stars Emmy James in the title role as a young actress experiencing the trials and tribulations of acting school.

Ms. James has won two Best Actress awards for her performance, at the Golden Door International Film Festival and the Northeast Film Festival. She will next be seen in the features You’re Not Alone and Dear Zoe. “SARAH Q is inspired by my 25 years teaching film acting.

Sarah Q reunites Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts) and Vincent Pastore ( Big Pussy) from the iconic HBO series The Sopranos. Sopranos regulars Federico Castelluccio, William DeMeo, and Artie Pasquale co-star in an impressive cast that includes Oscar nominees Burt Young (in his third film for Gallagher) and Sally Kirkland, with Garry Pastore (The Deuce), Steve Stanulis (The Fifth Boro) Sondra James (Joker) , Samantha Scaffidi (Terrifier) , Joseph D’Onofrio (A Bronx Tale). Gallagher, an eight-time Career Achievement Award winner, will next direct the big budget indie feature All Mobbed Up. Gallagher produces Sarah Q with Joe Benedetto, Paul Mammano and Shing Ka, John Bruno is the Line Producer and Kenneth Kotowski Director of Photography. Ernie Mannix is the Music Composer, Alexander Yew the Editor, Faith Kelly Production Designer and Caroline Sinclair is Casting Director.
