Take a queer roadtrip to meet aliens in our US Centerpiece film Unidentified Objects! Led by a sensational pair of performances from Matthew Jeffers (TV’s New Amsterdam) and Sarah Hay, this disarming and wholly original take on the roadtrip comedy finds its charm and its power in spotlighting characters who rarely get the lead roles. Join both of the actors and the filmmaking team for a Q&A after the film.

Join Outfest for the Messy Movement for Film, TV, and Stage workshop on building self-awareness and voice for actors around psychological safety needs while engaging the body as a vehicle for communicating moments of passion, eroticsim and longing in any script. Led by sensual movement expert Rashida Khanbey Miller, this experience is for feminine spectrum actors, directors, writers, and producers who are curious about creating new pathways for intimacy on screen through movement.

Outfest is back at the Ford with three nights of drag, comedy and, of course, worldclass LGBTQ+ cinema! Don’t miss these screenings for only $20 a ticket.

On Thursday, July 21, follow eccentric, queer siblings and their significant others as they try to start an unconventional family while navigating their thirties in Unconventional! The screening features live appearances by cast member Willam Belli, and the evening’s Mistress of Ceremonies…Kathy Griffin!

Get your drag fix on Friday, July 22, with our screening of God Save the Queens, a hilarious and surprisingly emotional dramedy about the lives of four struggling Los Angeles drag queens starring Alaska Thunderfuck, Laganja Estranja, Kelly Mantle, and Jordan M Green! The screening will be preceded by live performances from the four stars.

Get ready to laugh with a showcase of unbridled queer joy on our final night on Saturday, July 23. I Have to Laugh: Comedy Night at the Ford starts with a stand-up showcase featuring the cast of Queer Riot — Margaret Cho, River Butcher, Brad Loekle, Akeem Woods, and Daniel Webb followed by eight comedy shorts!

COVID PROTOCOL UPDATE: Due to the rising number of Covid Omicron BA.5 cases and in order to better assure the safety and health of all, attendees will now be required to wear masks at all indoor screenings and workshops with the exception of actively drinking or eating, in venues that allow it.  Masks will also be strongly encouraged in all lobby spaces, public areas, outdoor screenings and social gatherings.

Our VOGUE with the House of Ebony event that was originally scheduled for 5pm today will be postponed. Ticket buyers should have received a refund and the event will be rescheduled sometime after the festival.
