Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 7/24/18 – Chloë Grace Moritz and other stars stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of “The Miseducation of Cameron Post”.

Walking into the Ace hotel theater on Outfest closing night is like entering an underwater gay cathedral, mystical, inclusive and very very grand.
The excitement and anticipation filled the room, as much as my heart for the closing night gala movie, “The Miseducation of Cameron Post”. A film starring Chloë Grace Moritz as Cameron Post, who is after being caught making out with prom queen best friend, is sent to a gay conversion religious intuition, God’s Promise. The story find humor in the hardships, and Cameron finds refuge in the friendship of two other camp attendees.
The night kicked off by with audience awards along with the prestigious jury awards. Films like feature documentary, ’Man Made” scooping a two, for there powerful depiction of the only trans body building competition and the intimate lives behind the men.

C.G.M’s performance was transcendent to many of the audience. The innocence and humor brought by the 90’s era teenage driven story was something that the younger generation of the LGBTQ community needs right now. With everything going on in the world, it encompasses issues of all areas of the word minority. A must see!
