La Quinta, CA (The Hollywood Times) 3/17/23 – I attended the opening of Eggstravaganza this week at the Old Town Artisan Studios in La Quinta. The event is an exhibit and auction of amazing ceramic eggs that have been transformed into works of art. The event continues through March 31st. 100% of the funds generated will be used to fund the outreach art programs.
The event was attended by artists including many who created these wonderful art works. Old Town Artisan Studios is a home for artists who wish to create in a beautiful environment with all the necessary space to do so. Accomplished artists are also available to teach. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced artist. They offer classes in clay, fused glass, painting, drawing, and other art mediums. Outreach to the greater community is at the core of their mission.
In addition to the many indoor studios there is a lovely outdoor area that is complimented by the adjacent gift shop. It features magnificent art created right here on site. Open mic nights are also very popular here and music performances are scheduled too. Dates are listed on the website.
Anyone who lives in the Coachella Valley should see the Old Town Artisan Studios.
