LOS ANGELES, CA – February 1, 2017 – Celebrities, stylists, and top fashionistas joined designer Tyler Ellis in celebrating the 5th anniversary of her eponymous handbag line and the launch of the Tyler Ellis x Petra Flannery collection at an intimate cocktail party at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood last night. Co-hosted with Kelly Rutherford and Leslee Feldman, Octavia Spencer, Emily VanCamp, Michelle Trachtenberg, Ahna O’Reilly, JoAnna Garcia Swisher, The Good Wife’s Jess Weixler, singers and actresses Aly & AJ Michalka, iCarly’s Jeanette McCurdy, Girlboss’ Britt Robertson, Bethany Joy Lenz, Lili Simmons, NCIS: Los Angeles’s Daniella Ruah, Bridget Lundy-Paine, Nashville’s Jessy Schram, model Destry Spielberg, Last Man Standing’s Kaitlyn Dever, Natasha Henstridge, George Kotsiopoulos and more came out to celebrate.
In addition to celebrating the brand’s 5th anniversary, guests also gathered for the launch of the Lou Clutch, which was created for the Tyler Ellis x Petra Flannery collection. For the collaboration, celebrity stylist Petra Flannery put a vertical twist on Tyler Ellis’ staple clutches, creating a bag that is equal parts chic city woman and bohemian cool girl. Named the Lou Clutch in honor of Petra’s mother, it is available with fringe and without and can be worn as a clutch or crossbody.
