Nick Offerman and others celebrate at A-List Communications' THE HERO party at Supper Suite during SXSW hosted by Maestro Dobel Tequila and the Coppola Family Wines

THE HERO and TROPHY Celebrated by Orchard Films at A-List Communications’ Supper Suite Popup Series During SXSW

Austin, TX, (March 13, 2017) – Braving persistent evening drizzle, the casts and crews of director Brett Haley’s SXSW premiere THE HERO and Shaul Schwarz and Christina Clusiau’s hunting documentary TROPHY celebrated their films’ SXSW debuts with a cocktail reception at A-List Communications’ popup Supper Suite at Austin hot spot Summit this past weekend. Indie distributor Orchard Films is distributing both films.

Attending guests enjoyed Maestro Dobel® Tequila’s signature Black Diamond Margaritas with Hawaiian black salt and the “Dobel South by Supper Suite” cocktails and The Family Coppola’s Diamond Collection wines–Pavilion Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, and the winery’s flagship red Bordeaux blend, Claret. In between periods of rain, intrepid partygoers feasted on a self-serve taco bar.

In THE HERO, Sam Elliot (THE HULK) stars as Lee Hayden, an ailing movie star who comes to terms with his past and mortality. The film also stars Laura Prepon (That 70’s Show), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), and Katharine Ross (THE STEPFORD WIVES; THE GRADUATE; DONNIE DARKO).

TROPHY is an in-depth look into the powerhouse industries of big-game hunting, breeding and wildlife conservation in the U.S. and Africa that unravels the complex consequences of treating animals as commodities.

About The Family Coppola
The Family Coppola encompasses all of the things Francis loves most – cinema, wine, food, resorts, and adventure – and embraces quality, authenticity and pleasure as a backbone to each of these vibrant business endeavors. Anchored in Sonoma County, Francis Ford Coppola Winery, known for the superior level of quality and integrity, is, as Francis puts it, “a wine wonderland, a park of pleasure where people of all ages can enjoy all the best things in life: food, wine, music, dancing, games, swimming and performances of all types. A place to celebrate the love of life.” Coppola’s second foray into Sonoma County came in 2015 with the launch of Virginia Dare Winery, American wines since 1835, ushering in a new era of elevated quality and vineyard-specific wines. The Coppola Family Hideaways are a collection of unique properties where adventure meets serenity. Drawing upon inspiration from his film career and travels around the globe to the far reaching corners of the world, Francis created each resort embracing its off-the-beaten-track location, making it an ideal destination for exploring the natural wonders of the area while relaxing in tranquil surroundings. Additionally, The Family Coppola operates a venerable film production company, American Zoetrope; the award-winning all-literary magazine, Zoetrope: All-Story; Cafe Zoetrope in San Francisco’s iconic Sentinel Building in North Beach; and Mammarella Foods, an authentic line of premium organic pastas and sauces. www.TheFamilyCoppola.com.
