New KCET Thursday Nights: Orphan Black + What to Do When Someone Dies

New Lineup Brings International Thrillers to Southern California Viewers

WHAT TO DO WHEN SOMEONE DIES follows Ellie (portrayed by Anna Friel of Pushing Daisies), a schoolteacher who learns that her beloved husband was killed in a horrific car accident with a glamorous woman in his car. Ellie struggles to unravel these mysterious circumstances, to deal with her bereavement and to make sense of his death. All three 60-minute episodes of WHAT TO DO WHEN SOMEONE DIES premiere starting Thurs., Mar. 16 at 9 p.m. PT on KCET. This program will also be available to stream on PBS.org and the free PBS App. Members of PBS SoCal and KCET get extended access through PBS Passport.

ORPHAN BLACK tells the story of Sarah (portrayed by Emmy® Award winner Tatiana Maslany), a streetwise outsider who is about to uncover an earth-shattering secret: she is a clone. This gripping sci-fi thriller follows Sarah as she searches for answers and is pulled deep into a deadly conspiracy. She soon learns there are others like her, genetically identical individuals, nurtured in wildly different circumstances. And someone is trying to kill them off, one by one. All ten 60-minute season one episodes of ORPHAN BLACK premiere starting Thurs., Mar. 16 at 10 p.m. PT on KCET.
