Natalie Portman, Cuba Gooding Jr & More Celebrate Awards Season at Vulture Party

Last night, New York Magazine and Vulture hosted their inaugural Awards Season Party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in LA and toasted the performers and creators of the year’s most distinguished contenders in film and TV.

Special guests in attendance included: Natalie Portman (Jackie), Cuba Gooding Jr. (The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story), Constance Zimmer (UnREAL), Tony Hale (Veep), Rachel Bloom (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Fred Armisen (Portlandia) and Ana Gasteyer (The Goldbergs).  Guests mingled and danced to the tunes of DJ KissNew York Magazine cover star Natalie Portman was spotted congratulating Lion’s breakout star, 8-year-old Sunny Pawar.  The cast of UnREAL was spotted toasting the season an dancing together, and This is Us on-screen couple Chrissy Metz and Chris Sullivan were seen snapping pics together. 

The event also celebrated the launch of a special Oscars issue of New York Magazine, on which Natalie Portman is featured on the cover. The evening was hosted by CEO Pam Wasserstein, Publisher Larry Burstein, Editor-in-Chief Adam Moss, Culture Editor Lane Brown, Editorial Director Neil Janowitz, Hollywood Editor Stacey Wilson Hunt and Senior Editor Kyle Buchanan.
