Musical Influences of King Charles

By Tequila Mockingbird

Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 3/19/23 – I wanted to look into the musical influences of King Charles after he created Brian May from Queen as Sir Brian May this week. I did say Charles was on the right musical bent throughout his trajectory on the road to being King.

When he was Prince Charles, he was a fan of Rock music very much a man of his time.
Prince Charles has been known to be a fan of various rock and pop bands. In the 1960s and ’70s, he was particularly interested in the British rock scene and reportedly enjoyed listening to bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and Pink Floyd. He also had a liking for American artists like Elvis Presley.
In the 1980s, Prince Charles was known to have attended concerts by bands such as Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, and Madness, who were part of the New Wave and synthpop movements. He also reportedly enjoyed listening to the music of Phil Collins, Elton John, and David Bowie.
In more recent times, Prince Charles has been seen attending concerts by a variety of artists, including Coldplay, The Killers, and Jools Holland. He has also shown an interest in classical music and has attended performances by orchestras and opera companies.
