WHAT:

MTV will unveil the nominees for the 2016 “MTV Video Music Awards” via a Facebook Live broadcast from New York City with a simulcast across more than nine partners including the nominated artists, press outlets, and brands, such as Billboard, Elite Daily, Entertainment Weekly, Hugo Gloss, Mail Online, People, Refinery29, The Sun, Us Weekly and Getty. The stream will feature well-known street artists BD White, John Paul Ogrodnick (JPO), Damien Mitchell, Marc Evan, Resa, BKFoxx, Queen Andrea, Hektad, Giz, Such and Poem One, as they unveil a sweeping and panoramic mural depicting the five nominees for “Video of the Year.” Following the mural reveal, MTV hosts will announce the nominees vying for the coveted MTV Moonman.
