Leslie Jones, Ava Duvernay, Tamar Braxton, Remy Ma, Bryshere Gray, Bryshere Gray attend "BET Awards 17" PRE Event

Chairman and CEO of BET Debra L. Lee kicked off the “BET Awards 17”  with her annual PRE event, which took place at The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

Attended by “BET Awards 17” host Leslie Jones, Ava Duvernay, Tamar Braxton, Remy Ma, Bryshere Gray, Boris Kodjoe, Bryshere Gray and more, the private and star-studded celebration toasted the best in music and entertainment, in advance of the 17thyear of the BET Awards, airing live on Sunday, June 25th from Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. Debra L. Lee welcomed the celebrities, 2017 BET Awards nominees, industry titans and music elite to the festivities, and personally introduced French Montana, who took the stage for an energetic performance, including his latest hits “All The Way Up” and “ and “Pop That”. Throughout the evening, the VIP attendees welcomed the awards weekend ahead while enjoying gourmet bites, socializing and grooving to tracks from DJ D-NICE and DJ Millie.
