San Diego, Calif. (July 22, 2016) — As Californians prepare to vote on the legal status of cannabis in California, The Marijuana Show, the first-ever reality show about investing in Cannabis, will mark the show’s first-ever audition in California, when live auditions are held in San Diego, Calif., on Sunday, Aug., 7 at the Southern California Cannabis Conference & Expo. Up to $20 million are up for grabs when the producers search for the next crop of Ganjapreneurs that will join winners who have already been offered over $18 million in investments.

Emerging and established Ganjapreneurs with new business ideas or budding companies are invited to audition for season three of the critically acclaimed TV series The Marijuana Show, coined the “Shark Tank for Ganjapreneurs,” for an opportunity to receive guidance and capital to take them to the next level. The newest season is breaking records, offering $20 million in investment capital, proving the Cannabis industry is the next “tech boom.”

Auditions will take place from 12-1 p.m. on the Southern California Cannabis Conference & Expo stage in front of producers. Any conference attendee over age 21 with a pitch is eligible to audition. Before kicking off auditions, creators/producers Wendy Robbins and Karen Paull will speak on the seven secrets to a successful business pitch. Additionally, The Marijuana Show will host a conference (booth 527) and does encourage entrepreneurs, viewers and potential sponsors to stop by to sign up to pitch and for more information on the release of the show’s second season, upcoming auditions, sponsorship opportunities and more.

The Marijuana Show’s first pilot season was seen by 3 Million online, and recently launched Season Two, which is available for download on iTunes , Amazon and Google Play now, and soon Amazon Prime. The producers project over 5 Million will view Season 2, and are happy to provide screeners of their 5-star rated show upon request.

“We are thrilled to finally hold auditions in California at such a great event,” said Robbins. “With voters looking to legalize recreational cannabis in November, the California market, the largest in the country and eighth largest in the world, has only just begun to show its potential.”

This season, two time-time Emmy Award-winning director Wendy Robbins, re- joins co-creator and marketing guru Karen Paull in their search for the next Marijuana Millionaire. Up to 15 entrepreneurs and four accredited investors and mentors will be chosen to participate in an intense, three-day Bud Camp, where attendees will be coached to pitch to a panel of accredited investors. Those selected by panelists will receive financing and mentorship and may be the cannabis industry’s next big idea.

“After witnessing The Marijuana Show bring so much success to the businesses of season one and two, we could not wait to begin season three’s auditions,” co- creator Paull said. “Capping out at $20 million in investment capital, this season’s level of competition will far surpass those that came before and set a new bar for our contestants.”

Additionally, The Marijuana Show will continue to leverage its relationship with the hundreds of cannabis businesses seeking funding by introducing High Finance Fund, a $50 million private equity fund set to launch in August 2016.
