Idris Alba, Jamie Foxx, and Omeretta The Great Appear on Latest Episode of Black Girl Stuff

Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/25/22 – Black Girl Stuff is a new series on Revolt TV, hosted by Black women and centered around topics most relevant to young Black women. On the latest episode, they discuss the expectations of women being “flewed out,” friendship, purchasing real estate with a partner, and more.

The episode also includes conversations with actors Jamie Foxx and Idris Elba. Idris dishes on his new film Beast produced by Will Packer. The film was shot in South Africa and featured Iyana Halley (The Hate You Give) and Leah Sava Jeffries (Empire series), who play his daughters. Idris said, “being a father helped him with this role because it allowed him to tap into his emotions which created better chemistry between himself and the young actresses.”

Edris Elba

Foxx talks about his role as a vampire slayer in his new film Day Shift, in which he plays a pool guy whose natural source of income is haunting and killing vampires. The film was directed by J.J Perry and starred James Franco and Snoop Dog.

Omeretta The Great

Atlanta rapper Omeretta The Great also appears on the episode, speaking to the cohost about being a female rapper and riding her own wave. The “Sorry Not Sorry” rapper says; “people with substance are starting to get more praise,” in reference to being asked about taking the stereotypical route of female rap.
