Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 10/14/20 – In Season 2 of ‘The Great’ Catherine (Elle Fanning) takes the thrown and must learn that change often comes in the form of submission. In a bid to bring enlightenment to Russia she must battle her court, her team, and her mother in hopes of liberating a country that doesn’t want to be. Her heart is also on the line as her disfavored husband transitions from prisoner to ally to lover. Viewers will have to watch the drama unfold and see if Catherine is able to separate idealism from delusion. Can she handle becoming “Great”!?
