Here’s Your Gay Desert Guide for the Weekend: Mar 31–Apr 2, 2023 🌴

March 31–April 2, 2023

Brad Fuhr PS Art Museum

Andy Mills, our LGBTQ-friendly police chief in Palm Springs, made us feel safe when he addressed the Drag4Drag group at Hunters on Thursday night. He and his wife Kathy have been fully supportive of our community as we continue to be attacked by the right.

He assured the drag community and all of its allies that the rally set for April 18th at Forever Marilyn will be well protected by major police presence. And so, it’s come to this: We know that gathering to express ourselves at Pride celebrations, drag shows and other LGBTQ+ events may be taking our lives into our own hands.

All those “gay” events can be found here on Gay Desert Guide and of course we’ll continue to talk about all of this on KGAY 106.5 Palm Springs.
