Hawaiian Tropic Founder Party Palace Lists at $6 Million!

Ron Rice, who died in 2022 at the age of 81 in Daytona Beach, went from high school chemistry teacher to multi-millionaire, suntan lotion tycoon with his Hawaiian Tropic suncare brand. A poor boy from the hills of North Carolina, the ambitious Rice fell in love with Florida’s beaches and grew his brand to sales of $110 million per year. He celebrated his suncare Empire with The Beach Boys, Jerry Lee Lewis, Donald Trump and other celebrities at his striking Ormond Beach mansion.

With Rice’s passing, his longtime oceanfront home is for sale at $5.99 million. Featuring 12,000 square feet, two outdoor pools, an indoor pool, and 200 feet of beach frontage, the four-bed, five-bath home is a next-level party palace.
