We’re at the halfway mark of the 10-day Santa Fe Film Festival some of the events and highlights waiting for you to participate in!

Santa Fe, NM (The Hollywood Times) 2/9/22 –
America Young and her film “Back to Lyla” will be at the festival for their World Premiere and America will be at our Awards Luncheon on Saturday, where she will receive the “Spirit of New Mexico” award for her work in film, stunts, mo-cap, and philanthropy supporting female filmmakers with finishing funds.

Wednesday Night, February 9th in Albuquerque a Special Screening Event at the Nexus Blue Smokehouse Don’t miss out on this SPECIAL screening event in Albuquerque at Nexus Blue Smokehouse on February 9th at 6 PM for the screening of “One Pint at a Time” a documentary about the roots of beer including how Black-owned breweries are reshaping the craft beer industry!

Focusing on the casting and creative process involved in assembling the perfect cast, this discussion will include how casting is both an integral part of the art of filmmaking, and a collaborative medium – where inspiration meets creativity and intensive work to bring a film to life.

Sign the Show: Deaf Culture, Access & Entertainment brings together entertainers, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HOH) community, and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters to discuss accessibility at live performances in a humorous, heartfelt, and insightful way. 

“The Sound of Us” Screening, Q&A, After Party

“The Sound of Us” from 12-time Emmy Award winner and Grammy Award-nominated record producer, Chris Gero, founder of Yamaha Entertainment Group and Chief Artist Relations Executive for Yamaha Artist Relations Group. He has also produced live concerts for Elton John, Norah Jones and others. Following the screening of his film, Ivan Weiner of AMFX will moderate the Q&A.
