Finest Courtier, an award-winning published photographic studio with a focus on erotic, fetish, kink, and nude art announced the first-ever educational retreat for established photographers wishing to focus on or extend this genre to their clients.
The After Dark Artist Lounge Retreat will take place in Boston, March 18-20, 2022.
With a focus on elevating the genre, industry-leading photographic artists will introduce attendees to their style, inspiration, and philosophy within the genre; and in collaboration with genre-relevant models, attendees will be guided in etiquette, posing ideas, and safety.
The Retreat features small group mentoring throughout, as well as daily portfolio-building time with all instructors and models.

In conjunction with the announcement of The After Dark Artist Lounge Retreat, Finest Courtier announced the launch of the After Dark Artist Directory.
The After Dark Artist Directory is an international directory of photographers, models, and vendors who have committed to being “safe, approachable and accepting brands, businesses and individuals for all erotic art and sex worker clients,” according to the creator of the Retreat and Directory, Sue Bruce. She says the After Dark Artist Directory is “the first of its kind, offering a growing global approach to the expectation of safety for all clients.”
Finest Courtier is sex and body-positive studio, welcoming all genders and identities.
