Escape for the weekend to the California Dreams Hostel for your Little Piece of Paradise in Pacific Beach

Pacific Beach

By Jules Lavallee

Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 5/22/20–  As the beaches are opening and our desire to escape the rigors of every day life, you will find comfort at the California Dreams Hostel in Pacific Beach. It is steps away from the ocean for the budget traveler in mind. It is wholesome, friendly, and inviting. Why pay for an over-priced hotel when you can enjoy a relaxing getaway in the heart of Pacific Beach?

Front Desk

California Dreams Hostel is described as “Your little piece of paradise.” Tell us about what we should expect while staying at California Dreams.

We believe that each guest works hard every day to have a little vacation for themselves. At California Dreams we make sure that each one of the guests can have the time to enjoy that. The guest should expect nice showers, a clean property at all times and a safe place in a great location surrounded by beauty, energy, and great restaurants.  We believe that mixing the comfort and cleanliness of a Hotel with a friendly environment of a Hostel cannot go wrong. That is exactly what we try to implement here together with great customer service. Our customers come first and our staff will always go the extra mile to ensure your vacation is purely paradise. Early morning or late night, our front desk is always ready to make your stay a little better.

What can guests do for fun?

We created a healthy and safe Hostel atmosphere with our daily and weekly activities such as: Surf Lessons twice a day every single day; Free Yoga facing the ocean from the cliff 4 times a week; Movie Nights; Bike Tours; Bonfires and much more. We are not considered a Party Hostel because we believe that if you are a traveler you would like to be in a place where you can have a long and quality rest to enjoy the day after. Also, if the guest would like to party they are more than welcome to enjoy the bars and the Pacific Beach nightlife which are 1 block and a half from us.

You are within steps of the ocean. What are some of your favorite restaurants Nearby?

There are so many cool restaurants nearby. Our favorites are:

-Oscar’s Mexican Seafood Restaurant

-Mr. Brazilian Pizza

-Cheba Hut sandwiches and salads

-Duck Dive – Bar & Restaurant

-Brick & Bell – Cafe Restaurant

What is the coolest feature at the hostel?

The coolest feature of the Hostel is the energy, atmosphere and the cleanliness.

Besides the fact we are a 30 sec walk from the beach and that you can rent any Beach equipment you need to enjoy the day. At the front desk we still believe that the vibe created by the staff and guests is what makes this place special.
