April 28, 2022 – Los Angeles, CA – Emo Nite delivered yet another stellar performance this past weekend to wrap up their first Coachella Music and Arts Festival. The duo delivered an epic stage show consisting of a mix of emo and pop punk classics that we all know and love, with some electronic remixes. This weekend also featured even MORE surprise appearances from Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach performing “Last Resort,” 3OH!3 performing “Don’t Trust Me,” Forrest Kline of Hellogoodbye performing “Here (In Your Arms),” and Tom Higgenson of Plain White T’s performing “Hey There Delilah.”
“Between rowdy singalongs to My Chemical Romance and Papa Roach, the DJ duo of Morgan Freed and T.J. Petracca welcomed to the Sahara stage Plain White T’s singer Tom Higgenson for a campfire-style chorus of “Hey There Delilah.” Hellogoodbye frontman Forrest Kline also made a cameo — he not only dropped the 2005 nostalgia bomb, “Here (In Your Arms),” but spoke almost completely in autotune, delighting many a former scene queen.” – LA Times

Coming up, the duo is set to bring the first Emo Nite Prom to Los Angeles on May 6th at Avalon. Upstairs in bardot, there will be a selection of live band sets from Sizzy Rocket, Concrete Castles and more. Downstairs in the avalon will be the party of the century, filled with very special surprise guests. Stay tuned for more information coming soon!
Emo Nite was started by Morgan Freed and T.J. Petracca in December of 2014. What began as a party at a small dive bar in Echo Park quickly grew into a full-blown phenomenon. The movement has expanded from the tiny dive bar on LA’s east side to recurring events thrown by dozens of friends in over 30 cities nationwide. Attracting some of the biggest names in music including Machine Gun Kelly, Post Malone, Good Charlotte, Demi Lovato and many more, Emo Nite has also expanded to the festival circuit, curating their own full-day festivals as well as booking coveted performance spots on lineups at Life is Beautiful and Firefly.
