The Hollywood Reporter and SAG-AFTRA will partner for the first time to celebrate the Primetime Emmy Awards contenders at the inaugural “Emmy Nominees Night” on Thursday, Sept. 14 at Jean Georges at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills. This unofficial kickoff to Emmy weekend will also mark the first major industry red carpet event to be held at Jean-Georges Beverly Hills.

LOS ANGELES (Aug. 21, 2017) – The Hollywood Reporter and SAG-AFTRA have partnered to celebrate the 69th Primetime Emmy® Awards contenders at Emmy Nominees Night on Sept. 14 at Jean-Georges at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills, California. The event, presented by American Airlines, Breguet, and Dacor, marks the first time The Hollywood Reporter and SAG-AFTRA have joined forces to celebrate Emmy nominees, and will serve as the unofficial kickoff to Emmy weekend.

“It’s been an extraordinary year for television, and the Emmy nominations are a great reflection of that,” said Matthew Belloni, editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter. “For the past nine years, The Hollywood Reporter has hosted the popular and exclusive Oscar Nominees Night in the week leading up to the Academy Awards. We’re excited to team with SAG-AFTRA to create a memorable night for Emmy-nominated actors and other creative talents to celebrate their honors and the amazing work of the past year.”

Emmy Nominees Night will mark the first major industry red carpet event to be held at Jean-Georges Beverly Hills, the first Los Angeles restaurant of James Beard Award-winning and Michelin star chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, where guests will indulge in fine food by the world-renowned French restaurateur.
