Palm Springs, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/22/22 – Upon arriving at the host hotel, Margaritaville, I picked up my electric pink shwag bag provided by ‘The L Word’.  Checking out the lesbian scene at the 31st Dinah Shore Event, I stumbled upon the unique and lovely self proclaimed “Hollywood Bubbler.”  The moniker she gives herself is a “Late Bloomer Lesbian”.  A term I’ve never heard, despite studying lesbians for the last 22 years.  “Boss bitches in the house,” my new friend said.

Effervescent bubbles preceded her arrival, a plastic gun by her side.  This eccentric, silver-haired beauty LBL shot bubbles rather than bullets in my direction. Emanating joy and blissfulness, she did shed a tear in an emotional moment between us.  The Hollywood Bubbler has fully embraced her recently established identity as a LBL by moving to the lesbian mecca of Los Angeles.

Gray hair, overalls, and a hat with a rainbow made up the cool outfit worn by someone who doesn’t care what your zip code is.  “It’s all about the spirituality,” Hollywood Bubbler said.  Her mission by being the “ Hollywood Bubbler” is to bring people happiness.  And that’s something we all need in years plagued by disease, death, and divineness.

In other words, don’t let anyone take away your bubbles or joy.
