Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/4/18 – Summertime in LA lately has been very toasty with temperatures breaking records of over 100° degrees during July.The heat can be very uncomfortable and ones clothing doesn’t have to be. This summer Macy’s has been showcasing their summer fashion line dedicated to helping customers beat the summer heat with light flowy and sheer fabrics of linen and cotton fashion trends.

I recently visited the new Macy’s in Century City Westfield Mall to see their newest store and review Macy’s Summer Cool Fashions Sale.  I tried on several sale items and fashionable summer shoes. Trying to look fashionable and trendy in the summer heat no matter how hot it gets . I made an appointment with a fashion stylist on the second floor who was able to help pick out some great new summer looks for me and match my style for trendy outfits made of cool and flowy fabrics to beat the heatwave.   


Trina Turk cotton blouses are one of my favorite go to for hot summer days these long sleeve cotton blouses cover up enough not to burn on a boat ride or walk on the beach yet breathable in 100% cotton.  Also they are featuring a linen slip dress in several colors that is multi versatile for travel throw on a light cardigan over your shoulder or trendy  worn with jean jacket .

INC is showcasing some trending cotton pants and Maxi dresses. Bar Ill with fun bright summer Floral Print Ruffled patterns cool and chic also popular tye dye maxi dresses for reasonable prices and trendy looks. Top Westside lived in trendy bohemian beachy looks with Free People brand showcasing billowing tops and extra large flowing casual cotton thin knit sweaters for air conditioned offices theatres or temperatures cooling at night ; Alfani showcasing multi patterns sheer flowing wrap blouses that can double wear as bathing suit cover ups and totally trendy lines from Rachel Zoe.

Open toe sandals from Michael Kors and comfy espadrilles from Steve Madden on the sales floor now comfortable shoes for walking with memory foam and cork heel wedges.
