TV legends Carol Burnett, Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick received honorary degrees yesterday from the American Film Institute at the AFI Conservatory’s Class of 2017 Commencement Ceremony at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA.

Carol’s degree was presented to her by surprise guess Kristin Chenoweth and (Dr.) Burnett wowed the audience with her Tarzan call and then told the class how important movies were to her growing up poor in Hollywood and how she put together a showcase in order to get an agent that of course then led to her success in television and film!
