Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 10/30/22 – Bajan pop singer Ayoni released her highly anticipated EP, The Vision, in mid-September. This comes three years after her critically acclaimed project Iridescent. Last week the singer released the video for her EP’s title single, Vision – celebrating Ayoni’s odyssey within her personal perceptions and the translation of those understandings into her career.
In a press release, Ayoni shares her experience, saying, “Making this music video was a really fulfilling experience,” “It was filmed after the release of the EP and translating the sonic ambition of the EP into a visual manifestation was a very healing way to close out this chapter. We shot around downtown Los Angeles and in a studio, with director Francisco Covarrubias at the helm. I wanted to represent the journey to living your dreams. Using fashion, glam, and setting to highlight the beauty of the journey, I hope the video presents the song in a new light.” (BlackPandaPR)
