Where did your love for dance begin?

My love for dancing began in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Describe the feeling that dance brings to your life and your love for ballet dancing.

When I’m dancing, I feel like everything around me disappears. I feel so at ease, happy and peaceful. I love ballet because it taught me to control every movement of my body. I use it in modeling to this day.

Tell us about your modeling career. What do you look for in a project?

I try my best for every project I do because I want to show my best self off. Before every project, I look at the moodboard, then I go to the wardrobe stylist, makeup artist and hairstylist’s media pages to see their work. From these things, I already have a pretty good idea of what the shoot wants and then I can prepare myself for the shoot better.

“So many people assume that you have to be five-foot-ten and look a certain way to model or to gain a following on social media, and I want to do everything in my power to change that.”

How are you changing the perception of modeling and social media influence?

I feel like I’m changing the perception of modeling through my height. I never thought that I would ever be able to pursue a career in modeling. Social media helps me show other people to pursue their dreams regardless of the rules.

Can you share your favorite commercial and print work?

My favorite commercial was for the Melco Resorts in Macau, China. I was flown to Macau and was able to stay there for a little more than a week. I filmed for 4-5 days and had the rest of the days off to explore and have fun.

My favorite print work was my first job, Yogibo. It was the first big job that started my career. I was on billboards around New England.

You have nearly 500,000 followers on Instagram. How are you inspiring others?

I’m Inspiring others by showing people who I really am. I use my stories to show off what I do during the day and to also share my opinions on topics. I believe my page got popular because of the materials I post. I show my art through my modeling, so when I model for a photoshoot, it’s very artistic for me.I show off my dance side, the beauty side and also the glamour.

What’s next for you?

A lot! I have so many projects coming up and a lot of projects in the making. This season is very busy for me.
