As the CEO of the Union Rescue Mission, Reverend Andy Bales is committed to serving his “brothers and sisters.”  From streaming sermons online, to opening the doors of the mission to those that need shelter, Reverend Andy and his team have been doing their best to quickly and safely offer help despite his own personal health issues which put him in a high-risk category.

Serita Lockley, who inherited her love of truck-driving from her father, now owns her own small trucking business.  Serita and her team have been busy helping get much needed items to a number of places, including essential items to retirement homes and construction materials to help pave roads during this pandemic.

Episode Four (May 29, 2020): “The Advocate, the Sanitation Worker and the RV Guy” with a special appearance by Kelly Rowland Featuring:

              DANA MARLOW (WASHINGTON, D.C.)

Dana Marlow is the founder of I Support the Girls, a nonprofit that collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear and menstrual hygiene products to women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment or distress. Recently, she has been donating sanitary products to women on the USNS Comfort which is docked in New York City and has also gained global recognition, even getting a call from the World Health Organization (WHO) to devise strategies for her donations to reach those in need around the world.

Angel Santiago has been a sanitation worker for the City of New York for the last 25 years, working through September 11th, Hurricane Sandy and now the Covid-19 crisis. Now more than ever, New Yorkers are depending on him to keep the streets clean and sanitary to prevent the spread of the virus, and he reports to work each and every day with a smile on his face, proud that it is his duty to give New Yorkers a better quality of life.

Woody Faircloth discovered his passion in life 18 months ago when he purchased a small RV to donate to a family who lost their home during the California wild fires. Woody became more inspired to continue doing this work when the pandemic hit and his neighbor, who is an emergency physician, reached out to him in tears expressing her fear of affecting her family with COVID-19. Realizing there was a need to help frontline medical workers with housing during the pandemic, Woody connected with the group, RV’s for MD’s where he has helped match nurses, doctors and more with people donating RV’s for the cause.
